Aahar-The international Food and Hospitality Fair. Aahar is one of Asia’s best known brands in Food & Hospitality shows & is in its 33rd year. It is organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (the premier trade promotion body of the Government of India) in New Delhi, India.
Designed the stalls of Osho Company and Bakewell Machines. The designing part was done by Interior Designer Mr. Sachin Garg, Dream Drafters. The stalls have very unique designs.
Here is a quick interview with Mr. Sachin Kumar.
1. Details of Aahar Fair i.e location, dates, about the fair, who all exhibited or how many exhibitors were there, the purpose of the fair, does it happen every year in Delhi only or all over India etc.
“AAHAR – The International Food & Hospitality Fair” is one of Asia’s best known brands in Food & Hospitality shows & is in its 33rd year. It is organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (the premier trade promotion body of the Government of India) in New Delhi, India. Approximately 1500 exhibitors were there. This is the opportunity to exhibit your product, technology and services to national and international buyers. It happens every year only in Pragati Maidan, Delhi.

Aahar is the best platform where you can explore and showcase your talent. ITPO approves holding of international trade fairs in India and regulates holding of various expositions in India primarily to avoid any duplication of efforts while ensuring proper timing. It manages India’s world class exhibition complex which is constantly upgraded to keep it in a high standard of readiness. Spread over 123 acres of prime land in the heart of India’s capital, New Delhi, Pragati Maidan offers about 61,290 sq. mtrs. of covered exhibition space in 16 halls, besides 10,000 sq. mtrs. of open display area. 1. The framework of his work.
I try to keep my designing soothing and eye-pleasing which gives the royal and classy impact in the first impression. Once the people know my taste, they can understand my keen interest behind every designing.
2. Why did he chose to step in this field of work?
It was my keen interest to experiment with interiors. It was my passion when I organise the things lavishly. I have explored myself in this creative field. Then I decided to do this work passionately.
3. Since when is he in this business.
From last 9 years, I am into this business. I started my career in 2009.
4. Why did he opted to do the stalls designing for these two companies ? Was he approached by other companies too for this fair.
I opted the designing for these two stalls because they both were looking for the creativity with the stalls. I was approached by other companies also but few things didn’t work in my favor such as creativity, space for the stall, financial terms.
5. From where did he got the idea the designed stall of how to design them.
I have already worked for so many exhibitions in the past. This is not my first time. Firstly I have designed the rough layout and discussed with client. He loved the idea and we have worked in the same way.
6. What after this ? Where does he sees himself ?
Well I have finished this thing but my interior projects are going on. I am still busy with my work. I do not believe in dreaming. I simply believe If you do hardwork, you will get successful.
7. Does he do the interiors for all the residential and commercial projects.
Yes, I do interiors for commercial as well as residential also.
