The star cast of the movie consists of Khelecchi Ajgubi (Emona Enabula) an African nationalist, Bonnie (Ritabhari Chakraborty) a journalist, Raju (Parambrata Chattopadhyay) a taxi driver with his yellow signature car and P.K (Saswata Chatterjee) the drug lord. He is also the director of the movie.
A strong portray of emotions
The movie displays the helplessness of the African nationalist who agrees to deliver a consignment of drugs to a drug lord who runs a drug cartel because he needs a huge amount of money in order to save the life of his ailing mother. He does not even have the money to buy the return ticket to his motherland.
The desperateness of a journalist who is hungry for breaking news in order to save her job. This would prevent her father from marrying her off to a homeopathic doctor.
The kind hearted and helpful taxi driver who frames a plan to help Khelecchi to bring him out of this mess and also get enough for his mother’s treatment and in this way the movie conveys a strong message of a sense of humanity and universal brotherhood.
The cleverness of the cab driver who is a con man, oversmarting the drug lord by getting him caught red handed by the police which leads to a happy ending.
Different people, Different prespective
The director has done a really good job in trying to highlight the different angles of a game through many perspectives such as from the lens of the fans, the club officials, the agents and the media. The movie also lays emphasis on the illegal off – field activities which we have generally seen reported by the main stream media.
