The plot of this series revolves around two childhood friends who are also neighbours Amrutham and Anjaneyulu and their plans to open their dream restaurant, Amrutha Vilas. They come up with various creative ideas to boost their restaurant business in order to become rich and in this process they make silly mistakes and fail with hilarious consequences.

The new episodes of “Amrutham Dhvitheeyam ” are definitely going to take you on a laughter riot. Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation the team of Amrutham Dhvitheeyam has also filmed two lockdown special episodes with complete safety procedures of the star cast from their respective homes. The two episodes are filled with humour based on the current lockdown and the issues everyone is facing because of it. The duration of each episode is around 30 minutes except the two lockdown episodes which are around 10 minutes each as the initial 3 episodes were shot before the lockdown and two shorter ones were shot during the lockdown and late ones after the lockdown.
The show witnesses humourous and popular characters from the show Friday Sarvam, landlord Appaji. Appaji implies penalty on every small issue and succumbs to the restaurant to empty hands. He contributed famously to their comedy of errors and also became extremely popular characters. Amrutham and Anji meet after many years of closing their restaurant Amrutham Vilas which was a complete failure and now comes up with the idea to start Amuratham Dhvitheeyam or Amrutha Vilas Part 2 with zero investment which is the second innings of their initial plan. A Strong bond of friendship can be seen between Amrutham and Anji and their situational comedy throughout the episodes.
