#TG3 2017-18 Finale Guidelines
DO’s
–You must carry printout of the confirmation email which has been sent to you.
–You must have a valid Govt. Photo ID proof for verification purpose at the venue.
–You must carry your own laptop for Final round.
–Finale round will start from 10:30 to 5:00 pm on 23rd November 2018.
–In the Finale round only Techgig.com login will be enabled; social login will be restricted.
–For Finale round, there will be 2 problems and user will have unlimited attempts to solve each problem.
–Participants can use any of these browsers (IE11+, Google Chrome 50.0+, Mozilla Firefox 46.0+).
–You are requested to get these browsers installed on your laptop prior to your arrival for the final round.
–Finalists need to attempt and submit their solution for both the problems between 10:30 to 5:00 pm on 23rd November 2018.
–Please note that no extra time will be allotted to any candidate.
–You can copy and paste the code from your local editor to our online editor.
–You are requested to get your local editor installed on your laptop prior to your arrival for the final round.
–In case any participant has any concern/query pertaining to issues like login, code compiling, code submission and result, it is recommended that they post their query using “Need Help” section.
–Please do not discuss with any other participant.
–Rank and scoring logic in the Finale will be the same as Round 1 but finale result will also be based upon plagiarism check and detailed evaluation of candidate’s submission.
–Participants can have local language coding environment in their laptop. Apart from this, we don’t have any other software requirement for Final event.

–Participants shall only have access to Techgig.com, so users cannot use / run any other sites (E.g. Google, Torrent, YouTube etc.)
–There will be manual proctoring in the examination hall.
–During the Finale round (11 am – 4:30 pm), No use of mobile phone is permitted in the hall.
–If any participant is found using mobile phones, TechGig reserves the right to disqualify them immediately.
–Techgig reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, view and re-evaluate the candidate’s submission at any time and hence decide the winner of the challenge, if the pre-conditions for the proper operation of the Challenge are jeopardized due to reasons not attributable to Techgig.
DON’T’s
–Participants found discussing among themselves during the contest timing will be disqualified.
–Any discussion with peer members during the contest related to question problem, problem logic is not allowed.
–Do not share the code during the final round.
–If two or more candidates are found to have same identical code, then all of them will be disqualified.
–Candidates facing any issue during the contest related to problem statement, software installation, network connection, etc. are requested to raise their query to the concerned person in the examination hall.
–Candidates found smoking, drinking alcohol during the examination will be asked to stop immediately. If they refuse to do so, they will be asked to leave the examination room immediately and will be disqualified.
Hackathon Guidelines
–The problem statement will be shared with you during the briefing session for the Hackathon on 23rd November 2018.
–You can put your queries to the leadership team during the briefing session.
–You must make a presentation to the Sponsor Jury explaining the solution you have created and submitted. You will also need to give a demo of a working prototype if the same has been asked for in the Hackathon.
–The presentation will be made to the Jury during the presentation round on 23rd November 2018.
–You must have a valid Photo ID proof for verification purpose.
–You must carry a printout of the confirmation email.
–The winners will be declared based on the scoring by the Jury.
–TechGig reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, view and re-evaluate the candidate’s submission at any time and hence decide the winner of the challenge, if the preconditions for the proper operation of the Challenge are jeopardized due to reasons not attributable to TechGig.
