The glamorous face of the fashion and film industry, Gauhar Khan looked stunning while walking the ramp at the Opening Show of the Asian Designer Week for the renowned designer Rinku Sobti. The collection, LOOM 1905, was an inspiration from the Indian Handlooms with a focus on IKAT patterns. Supporting Government’s initiative of ‘Make in India’ campaign, Rinku Sobti presented a marvelous collection of ensembles made from the Indian Handlooms with a modern twist. The striking designs on the runway captured audience attention and were appreciated by all. Gauhar Khan was the showstopper for Rinku Sobti and looked stunning in the designer’s best outfit. Her poise, confidence, and grace exuberated the true essence of the collection that won accolades from the audience.
Rinku Sobti’s collection was inspired by the Indian handlooms and was dedicated to the Pochampalli Park. The costumes of the couture were made using the finest IKAT, a distinct style and pure cotton weaves of Mangalagiri that made this collection aesthetically beautiful in terms of look and feel. The diffusion comprises of strong, clean lines on tunics, skirts, jumpsuits, jackets and gowns besides the classic mix of traditional charm and modern glamor in the couture. Each piece from the collection is worth keeping in the wardrobe.
