Thane 28th April 2017: Kaushalya Medical Foundation Trust Hospital has always found a warm place in the hearts of Thanekars, today this hospital gets a further boost by introducing its own heart care services. A new floor dedicated to cardiac care was inaugurated at Kaushalya Medical Foundation Trust Hospital, at Thane on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya on Friday, 28th April 2017. The centre was inaugurated by eminent Nuclear Scientist Dr Anil Kakodkar along with Dr Prafulla Kerker, HOD Cardiology Department GS Medical College and KEM hospital and Honorable Mayor of Thane Mrs Meenakshi Shinde.
Kaushalya Cardiac Centre offers state of the art Cath Lab for all intervention Cardiology procedures like Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty, Pacemaker insertion, etc. Along with this there is well equipped dedicated 8 Bed ICCU for cardiac patients Cardiac Bypass and Valve replacement surgeries will also now be available at the hospital.
At a time when there was lack of multispecialty hospitals in Thane city, this 100 bedded Hospital was formed for offering high quality health services at affordable cost all under one roof.
