Yesterday while watching ‘Durgamati – The Myth’ on Amazon Prime Video, I came across the character of Ajay Yadav, a student leader played by Prabhat Raghunandan. He shared the screen with Arshad Warsi in the role of a young politician and he was very impressive. He had a very small but important role in the movie despite that he played that part with at most perfection and dedication. His expressions and dialogue delivery were flawless and he did full justification to the part played by him. He has spent years tailoring his acting skills. He is not new in this industry but his time has come now as people have started noticing him.
He seems to be very promising but a bit underrated. He shared screen space with very well known actors in the film and managed to portray Ajay Yadav flawlessly and leave an indelible mark on the viewers with his mesmerising performance. Prabhat is very particular about his craft. His choice of work is commendable.
Prabhat is a go getter. Despite the fact that he had to go through a lot of struggle before he started getting work in the film industry yet, he never gave up on his dreams. He turned his passion into his profession. In his on big screen acting career of 10 years, he is well known for the movies ‘404: Error Not Found’ (2011), ‘Soch Lo’ (2010), ‘The Space Between’ (2015) and ‘Valentine’s Night’ (2012). His recent work can be seen in the OTT platform Netflix’s ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ (2020) and in an independent Film ‘Maali’ (2020).
He is a wonderfully talented actor who manages to stand out on his own with his charismatic performance. We really wish him all the best for this future endeavors and hope to see him in good projects more frequently and also as a main lead to showcase his talent soon. His acting skills should
really come into light.
