New Delhi, 8th November 2019 : Ride to Conquer, a four-part HistoryTV18 original series produced by 24 Frames Films Ltd., that features four celebrities (Hindi Rock icon Palash Sen, Chef Kunal Kapur, Celebrity fashion designer, Kanika Goyal & wildlife photographer Sudhir Shivaram), on four journeys, riding across India, through differing terrains and landscapes in search of new and inspiring experiences.
Ride to Conquer is about meeting new people, rediscovering rich traditions, savouring local flavours and exploring off-beat spaces. Each celebrity, an artist is his or her own right, seeks inspiration to create something fresh, something original. Unlike other travel shows, Ride to Conquer is about conquering the unfamiliar, stepping out of comfort zones and challenging the conventional, on a very short deadline! It affords viewers a never before inside look, at how inspiration find its way into creation. It introduces audiences to the creative process, leading to the next great original.

Hindi rock icon Palash Sen rides into the interiors of Punjab, and gets energised by the incredible talent of Sufi singer Shaukat Ali. His meeting with noted instrument maker and musician Pritam Singh adds another dimension to the trip. Later he hooks up with local folk legend, Nazar Pandher and his son Saleem Khan to create a rocking new original song exclusively for the show.
Chef Kunal Kapur rides into Jodhpur and beyond, into the Rajasthan countryside to explore rural cooking techniques and flavours. He tastes traditional Rajasthani dishes that never make it to restaurant menus and learns how vegetables are grown in the arid desert. All, to create an unforgettable meal, with his own fine touch.
Celebrity fashion designer, Kanika Goyal drives through Karnataka, making her way to Coorg. On the journey, she takes in the verdant landscape, experiences a coffee estate, breaks bread with a well-known Kodava family and attends a local wedding. All the time seeking inspiration for a brand new design. Back in her Delhi studio, her inspiration finds expression into a fabulous new garment that will star in her fall-winter collection.
And wildlife photographer Sudhir Shivaram heads into the wilderness of Valparai, teaming up with another photographer and a PHD student, who is studying the enigmatic Lion Tailed Macaque. Their quest – the perfect shot of the elusive Macaques, against the backdrop of the breath–taking Western Ghats.
